Peachy, Mushy Tale
Hey guys,
It's me...how are you? I'm peachy. I'm avoiding homework once again. Shame, oh shame on me! I find it most difficult to be motivated this semester. Could one of you please kick me in my cyber butt to move me into gear???
Seriously, we've had quite an interesting start of the new year. Hubby's mother has been here almost 2 weeks and now is taking turns staying with my sister and her family. I have so enjoyed her here, and miss her. I'm glad that my sister and her family have the opportunity to spend some quality time with her as well. Nana is such a unique and giving woman. Though she may not have a lot of money, she offers a wealth of knowledge and history to our conversations. And the love she put into her cooking is unmatched. She is most unique and precious.
Then, we have my daughter's surgery last week. Whenever we go through that, we seem to lose track of all sense of order. I get behind with bills and tend to put things off. She made it through the surgery and recovery very well, however, it did break my heart seeing her cry and blood draining out of her mouth and nose and ears. She is such a trooper. I love my daughter so much, and the fact that she's my only daughter out of 4 children, makes her even that more special.
My husband, as I mentioned in a previous post, went to the doctor last week for bleeding issues and now is scheduled for a colonoscopy this Friday. He and I are both anxious and apprehensive about the whole deal. I'm concerned for him because his health is always somewhat in a precarious state. Add to that the fact that he is suffering from some depression etc. and other health issues. I'm concerned for him. I'm concerned for us. I love him so much, as he is my true and only love. He and I have such a deep connection, words can no longer express it. Just know, we are one. So again, I ask you to pray for him, for us as a couple and family. Thank you.
Well, I got all mushy and I don't know what I'm doing, hee hee! I guess I need to go and pretend to do.....er that is, do my homework.
Bye for now,
Dovey
