Tale of Slumber Party

Hello there,
I had a good weekend. It was my "Valentine's"/neice's birthday slumber party this Saturday. It was a girls' night celebration. So I packed up my 3yr old daughter and we went for a drive to my sister's house. I got matching pajamas for my daughter and I (well color matched anyway) and socks. We got there and there were lots of balloons and games and giggles! It was fun to see my neice enjoy herself with her friends and to see my sister watch her daughter having fun. I think my sister is always worried about her children being accepted and happy. So it was nice that she was able to see my neice have so much fun. My mother-in-law is staying at my sister's house for these two weeks before she returns to our house, so I was able to visit with her this weekend. It was good to see her. She had a bit of a cold and couldn't talk well, but she seemed like she was ok otherwise. I have to say, I sure did miss my family when I was gone. But I'm glad I had the chance to spend time with my sister's family too.
I guess I don't have anything else to say for now.
